The Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) stated thatit will be accepting electronic Export Health Certificate / International Veterinary Health Certificate from concerned Competent Authorities of source countries, based on Memorandum Circular No. 10, Series of 2020 dated 2 April 2020.
To facilitate the import of animal commodities despite the Enhanced Community Quarantine in the Philippines, the Bureau of Animal Industry of the Philippines is now accepting electronic Export Health Export Health Certificate/International Veterinary Health Certificate from concerned Competent Authorities of source countries, such as the United States, as equivalent of the paper certificate, provided the following provisions are complied with:
- The e-Health Certificate has the same content and provides the same gua
- The e-Health Certificate is certified by the Official Veterinarian.
- Certificate is sent to [email protected]
The BAI shall issue a certification of the electronic Health Certificate to the Veterinary Quarantine Station port of entry in the Philippines for their reference in cargo clearance processing.
According to BAI, Memorandum Circular No. 10, Series of 2020 dated 2 April 2020 shall take effect immediately and will remain valid until revoked in writing.
